Old hardwoods, pine plantations, clear cuts, and plentiful creeks and tributaries make the Allison flatwoods some of the best hunting woods available. We also have a stocked bream and catfish lake on the property.
Buckeye HuntingClub is a well managed organization for maintaining family values hunting at its best trying to ensure we keep the heritage of hunting available for the entire family in the very best wildlife habitat possible. We maintain and plant areas of food for harvest of deer within tracts of land that meet state minimum requirements as well as maintaining tracts of land to the more trophy minded hunter. We try diligently to meet the needs of various ages of hunters and their families desires. Buckeye HuntingClub is located in the rich black belt land in West Alabama near Demopolis and Bellamy Alabama with many tributaries near the Sucarnoochee River and Tenn Tom Waterway. The lands are part of a rich hunting heritage located in Bellamy, Alabama and the Allison Lumber Company Flatwoods. The Old Allison Flatwoods has long been known of its great hunting heritage producing some of the finest Whitetail Deer and Eastern Turkey hunting available as well as Wild Hog, Coyote, Bobcat, Squirrel, Rabbit etc in the black belt region of West Alabama. The Buckeye HuntingClub lodge is situated on 90 acres of the Old Allison Lumber Company millsite with a lake stocked with catfish and bream. Our focus is to provide the best quality hunting possible to hunters's and their families in a family values environment.
